Soothes and comforts sore and tender breast tissue

Supporting overall breast health through massage

Breast health:

One of the key components of breast tissue health is movement. That’s because your lymphatic system is very closely linked to our breast tissue. Massaging with a herbal salve is a great way to get things moving (especially when you’ve had a bra on all day!) It’s also a great way to do a self-check once a month.

Hormone imbalance:

If you’ve ever had to hold your boobs while going down the stairs then you know what it’s like to struggle with tenderness either right before your period or even while you ovulate. Our breast tissue is directly impacted by the ebb and flow of estrogen and progesterone. That’s why whenever there is a hormonal imbalance or other hormone issues it could lead to tenderness. What you can do to help soothe the tenderness is a herbal massage with lymphatic supporting herbs. Addressing the current tenderness is important but so is addressing the underlying cause, that being a hormone imbalance. Learn more about how you can balance your hormones here.

How to use: After a hot shower or bath, apply and massage in small circles. Work from the center of the breast outwards. Moving in smooth slow motions clockwise. When you are massaging around the breast, sweep up and towards your armpit to support lymphatic drainage. See image 2

You may do a breast massage as often as needed. Make sure to do a breast check once per cycle preferably on cycle day 5 to avoid tenderness or “lumps” caused by hormone fluctuations.

Ingredients: Calendula flower* (calendula Officinalis), Cleavers* (Galium aparine), Violet leaf* (viola tricolor), Jojoba oil*, Vitamin E, Olive Oil*, locally sourced beeswax. Organic*

Safety: Sensitivity may occur in individuals allergic to Asteraceae (Daisy) family. You can do a patch test on your inner wrist.

Source: All herbs are ethically and sustainably sourced. They are also certified USDA organic from a third party.

Material: Shipping material consists of sustainable packaging. No plastic is used.
